　　表示“朝......，向......”的to與toward　　*to表示“朝......（方向），向......（方向）”，是指朝著目的地的方向，即to后跟表示目的地的名詞。如：He’s going to school.　　*toward表示“朝......（方向），向......（方向）”，是指朝著某個(gè)方向移動(dòng)，toward后跟表示方向的名詞。如：He’s going towards school.　　表示“在......的拐角”的at the corner，in the corner與on the corner　　*in the corner對(duì)于從內(nèi)側(cè)看用in the corner，用于箱子、房間的角落，表示偏僻的地方、隱秘的地方。對(duì)于從外側(cè)看用at the corner或on the corner?！　?at the corner表示地點(diǎn)時(shí)，經(jīng)常指“在街道拐角”，也可表示“臨近”。如：　　There is a store at the corner.　　*on the corner表示從外側(cè)看到的部分（有時(shí)可與at替換），意為“在街道拐角”。如：　　She is waiting for you on the corner of the street.
